Oxford School of Ministry

Core Values

The Bible

The Scriptures, encompassing both the Old and New Testaments, are divinely inspired by God. They serve as God’s revelation to humanity and stand as the infallible, authoritative foundation for faith and conduct.

Evangelistic Urgency

The Bible teaches that humanity is lost, facing the threat of eternal separation from God, and in urgent need of a Savior. It further reveals that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died to atone for the sins of mankind. This salvation is received only through faith in Jesus Christ and His completed work on the cross, including His resurrection.

The Holy Spirit

Our Lord Jesus Christ has entrusted the Holy Spirit with the mission of advancing the Kingdom of God on earth. We believe that God empowers His people with supernatural abilities to fulfill this mission today, manifesting through signs, wonders, healings, and deliverance from darkness and demonic forces.

The Fivefold Ministry

God advances His Kingdom by calling individuals to serve in the Fivefold Ministry, who in turn equip the Church for effective ministry. As stated in Ephesians 4:11-12, “And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.”

Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

  • Oxford School of Ministry (OSM) exists to help prepare 21st century leaders for kingdom advancement.
  • “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few… (Luke 10:2)”.
  • OSM seeks to collaborate with local churches and other religious organizations in providing a comprehensive, biblical training, by using faith-based tools in motivating and equipping ministers to lead efficiently and effectively. Participants will gain relevant insights from qualified and seasoned instructors.
  • OSM will also be a place where leaders from different backgrounds will have the opportunity to meet other spiritual leaders with the same Christian values and goals.

Our Goals

  • “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”(Acts 1:8, NKJV).
  • We aim to equip and empower leaders in Oxford, Mississippi, and the broader Mid-South region by 2030, with the aspiration of becoming a globally accredited institution by 2040.
